Overview

Ví́w̋tḩ Jaw̋ä Vǖy was founded durring the late 12th century in winter of the year 1053, by Chun They Kniksa. The establishment of Ví́w̋tḩ Jaw̋ä Vǖy was only bairly constructed. The sheer number of problems with its founding were enough to make several of the backers funding Ví́w̋tḩ Jaw̋ä Vǖy's construction back out of the project. Chun They Kniksa pushed on reguardles, and Ví́w̋tḩ Jaw̋ä Vǖy was finished, but starts off as a terible place to live.

Ví́w̋tḩ Jaw̋ä Vǖy was built using the conventions of Goblin durring the late 12th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Ví́w̋tḩ Jaw̋ä Vǖy is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.

Ví́w̋tḩ Jaw̋ä Vǖy is was constructed arround several spacious cobblestone mainstreets which cross one another at certain axies, with smaller streets branching off of them to premit acess to the many buildings deeper into the road network. The overall fashion is remenessent of a circulatory system, or other organic construct, and is quite effishent in its design. The town rests behind the absurdity that is a thick, timber braced, wall made of clay bricks. While visualy impressive and certainly an astetic, Ví́w̋tḩ Jaw̋ä Vǖy's wall provides no actual defence against siege equipment due to the choice of its cosntruction materials. Even nonexperts can tell the town is trying to impress rather than defend with its walls, towers, and gatehouses. Though admittedly, they do look nice... To primitive tribals who have never seen fortifications before. Unfortuantly, these political statment focused walls are in extreem disrepair, so much so that one cannot tell if they are decaying from a lack of mantance or damage incured.

Your first impression of Ví́w̋tḩ Jaw̋ä Vǖy proves to be right on the money. This town is where the rebels chose to settle. Fashion trends are quite simply the opposite of what’s popular in the other nearby communities. THis trend extends everywhere. Things that should be black are white, what would normally be square is organically curved, and what is typically unthinkable for polite society is more than welcome in this public square. Up to the logical limits, of course. There’s no flaying someone alive to eat their skin going on, but the women are dressed a little immodestly, the men are a little more emotional, and the food is all overly complex and terrible.

Cultural Notes

Ví́w̋tḩ Jaw̋ä Vǖy's town hall was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is admittedly strange and non-linear style rooted in defiance of symmetrical shapes. It championed the creation of buildings with a unique visual appearance. the structural norms of classic buildings and deforms or moves away from elementary architectural principles. By including non-linear designs processed into its buildings and favoring fragmentation, this style expressed a form of controlled chaos. Its buildings appear out-of-the-ordinary, draw the eye in immediately and sometimes create a feeling of strangeness. These distorted shapes and structure are not reserved to the building’s outer facade, they destabilize interior elements too, favoring minimalism and play on people’s perceptions by injecting a futuristic touch.

Due to the actions of local Kami, spring is long in Ví́w̋tḩ Jaw̋ä Vǖy.

Points of Interest

Ví́w̋tḩ Jaw̋ä Vǖy has a conflict with a neighboring community. This usually isn't part of a larger war, but is instead a personal animosity between them. It may be the community has suffered at their enemy's hands, or they may have been the ones applying the suffering. Constant low-level skirmishes and trouble making go on between the two.

Ví́w̋tḩ Jaw̋ä Vǖy's roads were poorly made when first laid. Rather than repairing them correctly, a series of new roads was laid atop the old, leading to the streets of modern Ví́w̋tḩ Jaw̋ä Vǖy suffering from potholes, cracking, and even sinkholes. The locals often repair the road by putting down wooden decking.
